Conveter 3.03 boot up method error

Hi

I'm trying to p2v a HP ML350 (sql server) using the boot cd. when it boots up it detectes the network cards and i can assign an ip address. but when it tries to find the VC or ESX it can't. at this point i checked the ip settings and it has lost the ones that i have given earlier. i have tried many times to assign an ip adress but it just wont retain it. has anyone seen this.

Went on site and checked the server. it was connected to the network by fiber :_| . connected a network cable everything is fine now :smileygrin:

doh .... well at least it works .... it's better than people mixing up network cables for multi-line phone jacks (POOOF GOES THE NETWORK CARD).
