Converting Win2K Pro dual boot system

I'm converting a Win2K Pro dual boot system and trying to run it on VMware server 1.0.2 - every time I start the virtual machine I get an access violation (0xc0000005).

Anyone have any idea what the issue could be ?

No change to the end result after re-converting the C: and 😧 drives and configuring them, however, the problem had something to do with the sound device.

As soon as I removed it from the configuration settings for the virtual machine, I was able to start the VM.

If you have some hardware-specific sound device, then it could interfere with the bootup. Good to see you have resolved your problem.
