Converter for ESX 2.5.3

Sorry if this has been asked already, but I have been digging for awhile and my eyes are starting to cross.

Is there a version of converter that will work with ESX 2.5.3?

The version I have downloaded (3.0.3 build-89816) tells me that it cannot be used for 2.5.3.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mostly this is going to be used for backing up machines while we upgrade our ESX, but we don't use alot of the features, so it may be used to convert to vmware server files (maybe, I'm not very comfortable with that)

Well i don´t know a converter but you could use:

Ultimate-P2V http://www.rtfm-ed.co.uk/?page_id=174

from VMWare Server to ESX253 ist mor V2V but should work.
