Converter always gets stuck at 2%. Any Ideas how to get around this?

I am trying to convert my Windows XP machine to Virtual Machine(Virtual Machine is being cloned to a VM Server on the network). I have tried running under the Admin account with limited processes running. I let the converter run for two days after which it had not failed, it just had not made it past 2% progress. I am attaching the Log file.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

From the error log "Unable to get fileextents for
?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy1
hibernat.sys. Error: 2" it has something to do with speed between NIC & port switch.

As been reported here and here

reboot your machine.

check your disk for errors.

only clone the c:\ drive.

look in the even log for errors.

reinstall the converter.

Try running the converter from another machine instead of locally, without having anyone logged in, or try the opposite if you used that method before.

I just had the issue and it turned out to be a speed of 100MB Half duplex on the server network card and 100MB full duplex on the switch port.

I turned off auto-detect and hard coded the speed to 100MB Full Duplex and everything is going fine now.
