Converter Enterprise CLI: experiences

Did someone already try the Converter Enterprise CLI to P2V a Linux RHES 5 to an ESX 3.5 server ?

We gave the tool a try but got already stuck with the creation of the XML file that should control the P2V job.

Anyone made some experiences with the CLI and willing to share ?

I do not believe the command line tool will work on unsupported OSs. Cold cloning (bootCD), selecting ALL partitions and opting to NOT resize any partition has been confirmed to work.

Yes, we have been re-reading the manual and it looks indeed as if the Linux CLI is only intended for starting a P2V remotely from a Linux host.

And not for converting a Linux host itself.
