I have Converter Standalone installed on my notebook, I put in the vCenter IP or name, doesn't matter, enter the administrator account, and still get permission denied to choose the VM to be v2v'd. The administrator login is the same as the domain/local administrator on the vCenter server, and the same login works properly for vCenter Server, it is the only login I ever use. I added the domain admin account to the Local Administrators account on the vCenter server...
What should I do??
Thank you, Tom
I found the worker log files.I did not have proper permissions to the folder to search on it.
It says it's impersonating my own domain account.
Running Converter 5.5 *as administrator* fixed things.
One did not have to do this before that I can recall.
Now I know what to do, run Converter as administrator.
Thank you, Tom
Could you upload log bundle? especially converter-worker.log
It is possible that you don't have an access to ESX box, check manual for ports too.
Upload to where?? Here??
I can only find converter-gui-##.log files.
I searched my whole C:\ drive, I found no *worker.log files.
I am the VMware administrator, I have access to all things VMware.
Regarding ports, this is completely internal so all ports are open internally.
Clicking source details gives no further information.
Thank you...
