I've recently tried converting a W2K server with VMWare Converter running on a W2K3 server.
Everything seems to go ahead fine until the final stages of the configuration wizard. At the point where I select a desination for the virtual machine to be copied to (using a UNC path), it fails with an error message:
'WMware Converter Agent System Error'
Obviously the agent was working because it successfully retrieved the hard drive configuration earlier in the wizard process. The W2K server has been rebooted and that doesn't make any difference. I have domain admin priviliges and there's no issues with accessing the paths to the network share.
Any ideas?
