Cannot convert 64bit sources into 32bit destinations

Hi there,

I have a 64-bit Microsoft Virtual Server I wish to convert onto my ESXi 3.5.0 server which does have 64-bit processors (2x Intel Quad-Core Xeon E5420).

Now my VMWare converter runs on my vista 32-bit desktop, and I am getting the error "Cannot convert 64bit sources into 32bit destinations". Why is this when the source file is 64-bit and the destination has 64-bit processors?

Though it may support it, you need to enable the features. In the system bios of ESX, you'll need to enable EMT64 or Virtualization Tech. See this document:
