An error occurred while opening a virtual disk. Verify that the converter server and the running source machines have a network access to the source and destination ESX/ESXi hosts

I am trying to convert a virtual machine located on hyper v to vcenter using the standalone converter located on another server. I get this error when It fails at 1%. The correct ports are open as well.

Welcome to the Community,

as a first step,  please check whether the source VM on the Hyper-V host is able to resolve the vCenter Server's as well as the ESXi host's FQDNs.

Another note this is a powered off conversion. So connecting to hyper V grabbing a powered off vm and trying to convert it onto vcenter.

In this case you should verify that the Hyper-V server has network connectivity to the destination ESX server on ports 443 and 902

They have connection to each other. As well tried to convert with both firewalls turned off. It still fails at 1%
