After Convert SUSE10 PV to a VM, the VM can not open and find disk?

I have successfully convert SUSE10 linux PV to VM with cold clone cd. But the VM can not open and find /dev/hda1 disk.

When I use SUSE10 installation cd enter linux rescue mode , I can not use choot /mnt/sysimage command to mount the local disk. I have modified the scsi card to LSI scsi card.

How can I open the VM?

hda1 doesn't exist any more .... this is attempting to open and IDE drive .... it's going to be at least /dev/sda1 for a scsi drive now. Let alone, you shouldn't use converter 3.0.x to convert a Linux system when the 4.0 beta supports linux reconfig

you might be able to use the converter 4.0 beta to "reconfigure" the virtual machine that is in ESX to adjust everything tho. this would save you from reconverting the entire system. Check the links below my signature for more info.
