AIX Support

Can I run converter 6.3 version to convert an AIX VM to VMWare VM?

Will AIX VMs be running x86-based OSes?

VMware virtualisation products are for x86-based OSes, or those which run on ARM if you have a Mac with an Apple processor.

If it is a x86-based system and the guest OS inside the AIX VM is one from the Supported Operating Systems list for Powered-On conversions, then there are good chances that you can convert the AIX VM treating it as a physical machine. Of course we have never tried that.
