A general system error occurred: unknown internal error

Hi ALL

Yesterday i had installed esxi4.1 on brand new HP ML350 G6 server, to migrate extisting system to the virtual

then i have installed Windows 2003 64bit on the VM joined to existing domain, installed vCenter 4.1 with converter 4.1

today from morning I’m trying to convert my existing domain controller to VM. but i'm stuck at the error message bellow

A general system error occurred: unknown internal error

I’m have tried everything what i knew but I couldn’t start this process, afterword i have downloaded standalone version but I’m still have the same error message

i have another vmware box with esxi and vsphere 4.0

i have installed last converter standalone version on the physical computer it self and i have run the same process but i have specified another esxi 4.0 box and it works

before i have tried to run standalone from server it self and pointing to my new installation, no luck

what i'm doing wrong? i have searched all of the internet but cannot find a solutions

I am also having the same issue.

We have 12 ESX v4.1 servers, 11 have successfully been added to the domain but one will not work.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

Have just rebooted the ESX host we could not add and we can now join the domain.

Hi guys

i have fixed the issue.

the problem was in DNS, i have specified dns forwarders on both domains and it started to work
