99% then convertor failure on NT4.0, what have I missed?

Fresh build on a Dell PC, NT4.0 Server (member server) - SP6a, IE6. Convertor agent installs, goes through the whole process then fails at 99% (live conversion to Virtual Center). The converted server appears on the virtual center , except the network card is messed up. It still thinks it has the old one on board. The server wil start, but there's a bunch of errors in the event log and no Network card functioning.

Any suggestions?

For NT 4.0, you have to manually remove the old NIC and add a new virtual NIC (AMD or VMware). Automatic replacement of the NIC is only for Windows 2000 and higher.

That's basically the answer I was expecting. Thanks.
