Hyper-v is not supported , which OS you are trying to convert ? powered off or Powered on ? check the compatibilty guide for standalone converter , it has all the OS support details

this will help you http://www.vmware.com/pdf/convsa_60_guide.pdf

The HyperV2 for offline (V2V) conversions is not supported, however you can convert powered on VMs.

This feature seems long overdue. Any idea when it will be added? Some of us are running away from Hyper-V and this is a huge wrinkle.

The conversion must be done from the running OS, as this is what you want to bring along. There is no point in converting it at the Hyper-V level, as there is no functions or features there that you will bring along.

yep, have been migrating many like this for some time now. (600+ VMs)

My point is,, it would be a nice "feature" to have that "full" view of all systems running on the hyper-v servers from converter.  Not that it is technically needed, I just liked it.
