Numbers or running VMs on VMC cluster.

Where can i check limit how many VMs can I run on a specific cluster size ? ( 2 node, 3 node etc.. )

For example client have exactly the same VMs configurations:

CPU 1 vCPU
MEMORY 512 GB
STORAGE 1GB
Client have 300 VMs.

I know this is very small for one VM but this is only example.

How can we calculate this?

Hi Sebastian,

The configuration maximums are all listed here: https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-Cloud-on-AWS/services/com.vmware.vmc-aws-operations/GUID-10A0804B-...

In addition, configuration maximums are part of the VMC Sizer, which can be found here: https://vmc.vmware.com/sizer/quick-sizing

I'd recommend you utilize the Sizer for your needs- it will ask for the number of total VMs, vCPUs/VM, vRAM/VM (simply round up to 1GiB), and Utilized Storage/VM.
