VMware certifications ?

Hello, 

 

I want to ask if I want to go to an entry level VMware certification ? which one ? I mean like CCNA in Cisco ? I really need your help ?

VMware offers certifications for different tracks (see https://www.vmware.com/education-services/certification.html).
Anyways, I think the most common certifications are those in the "Data Center Virtualization" track, like the VCP.

Why do you want to get certified?

Which VMware technology/product do you want to get certified on?

Do you have the funding (approx $3500) in place to take an authorised training class?

Your answers will influence the paths you should consider...

Hi, the entry level for VMware certifications is VCTA:

Since you brought up CCNA...

There is a work-around to avoid the $3500 training fees. If you already have a current CCNA, you can qualify for the VCP-NV certification by submitting proof of your CCNA, and taking (and passing) the VCP-NV exam.
