Certification Retired vs Expirery Dates

Hallo Community,

I have a question ?

What happens when a certification is retired  and my dates after i took the exam have not expired ?

Kindly assist ?

‌Not sure I fully understand your question but as far as I know once a certification has expired you will no longer be able to gain that certification. If however, you already hold that certification it will be valid for 2 years and will be extended if you take another VCP exam. For example my VCP 3/4 still show as active/current in my transcript despite them not being current - so I think the key is just to make sure you recertify by taking another VCP exam within that 2 year window. Hope that answers your question.
