Hi,
How can I leverage AWS services for my VMC ( VMware cloud on AWS) stack?
Can I use NSX on VMC networking for my EC2 instances?
Thanks
Sachin
Hello Sachin,
For the first question , please refer to Understanding Integrations with AWS Services
For the second question, we cannot use NSX (( used on VMware cloud on AWS )) to manage EC2 instances.
Please feel free to post if you have any additional queries. Thanks !!
The only official information I can find on this is as follows:
- Logical Layer 2 networks can be created within VMware Cloud on AWS for application workloads on-demand.
- Layer 3 distributed routing services available between Layer 2 logical networks within VMware Cloud on AWS.
- Secure north-south traffic to and from application workloads with edge firewall services.
- Establish hybrid cloud connectivity (IPsec VPN) between on-premises infrastructure and VMware Cloud on AWS.
- Enable Internet connectivity (NAT) for workloads running on private subnets within VMware Cloud on AWS.
- Enable connectivity between VMware Cloud on AWS and customer’s AWS account and authorize access to AWS services and resources.
- Get high-bandwidth, low-latency network connectivity from VMware Cloud on AWS to AWS services.

I hope this helps, if not let us know and someone will reach out.
