virtual Sockets x cores per Sockets

Pessoal,

Agora na nova versao, temos a opção de configurar a parte de vCPU com 2 parametros, sao eles:


- Number of virtual Sockets
- Number of cores per Sockets


A minha duvida é a seguinte:

Qual a diferença entre configurar a opção 1 e a opção 2 em questoes de perfomance ? E fora perfomance, quais sao as diferenças ?

Opção1:
- Number of virtual Sockets: 1
- Number of cores per Sockets: 2

Total numbers of cores = 2

Opção2:
- Number of virtual Sockets: 2
- Number of cores per Sockets: 1

Total numbers of cores = 2

Não há diferenças de desempenho entre uma configuração e outra como é o hypervisor que controla a CPU do host físico.
