I need to enable CDN ( consistence device name ) mapping on ESXi 6.
If this CDN mapping will work with ESXi , then network interface’s name will change based on the physical location of a network port.
I tried to enable this on DL360e Gen8 hardware, which support CDN.
After enabled CDN on system BIOS, re-installed the ESXi OS. But mapping not reflecting in ESXi server. NICs are still showing vmnic0,vmnic1.
Could you please tell me do we need to do any other settings to enable CDN mapping on ESXi? CDN mapping will support in ESXi ?
