Dúvida sobre vSphere Replication Appliance

gostaria de tirar uma dúvida sobre o appliance de replicação.

Se eu perder comunicação com 1 dos servidores, ou por falha no link ou pq o servidor reiniciou por exemplo, a replicação fica parada e preciso reiniciar manualmente.

Existe alguma forma de reconectar automaticamente?

se não existir, estou pensando em colocar um alarme, mas qual a opção de alarme seria a melhor?

De qual versão do VR estamos falando ? Se for 5.8, realmente não tem uma maneira automática de reconectar pela ferramenta, veja abaixo:

vSphere Replication is not available in an attempt to reconfigure replication if the connection to the target site is broken.

If you connected two sites and configured replication for a virtual machine between them, then changed the certificate of one of the vSphere Replication appliances with a new self-signed certificate, the connection between the sites must be repaired.

Workaround: Click reconnect at the target site and verify that the sites are connected before attempting the operation.
