MS team is know to be memory hog! check you Processes foor print when running Teams! However there is a distro available for linux. Check here https://aka.ms/get-teams-linux 

I doubt this will be repackaged in Photon Appliance version.

Unsure what happened at Msft as the consumer view of roadmap MS teams Linux always shows 0. The roadmap Web shows some information.

At first glance, admins could believe Teams is a typical collaboration ... while Citrix supports Windows, Mac, and Linux for optimization.
