We did a VM or 20 per day with VDP but kept running into some weird things, throughput of a few MB/s, VM's that would not backup (especially WS 2003) and backup jobs that would simply.. disappear.. We switched to Veaam rather quick and are very happy with things now. A significant higher throughput and no issues with backupping, including Windows 2003 where VDP seemed to had trouble with.
