vcb backup failed: Snapshot creation failed

Hi,

I met a problem when I used vcb to backup. The log shows " Snapshot creation failed: Operation failed since another task is in progress."

Are there anyone what the problem is and how to fix it?

The below is the log :

Error: Other error encountered: Snapshot creation failed: Operation failed since another task is in progress.

An error occurred, cleaning up...

Error VM :'CSGSGPKEXT04' snapshot failed

Was there any other operation going on at the time the backup has been initiated on the VM? Is the VM being vmotioned?

In fact, I tried to restart the services:

service mgmt-vmware restart

on the host that the vm is running on and if it is connected to a VirtualCenter / vCenter also try a

service vmware-vpxa restart

The problem is solved.
