Hi, I'm moving along the VM learning curve to backups. With all the aid from these community posts, I've figured out how to get a SCSI card on the host recognized by my VM, and my LTO-3 tape machine is running well.
Can I turn on the tape drive's Hardware Compression? It's always been seamless for my SQL backups, but I thought I'd check if anyone had bad experiences corrupting either vmdk files, or vdr vmdk's or Veeam vbk or vib files.
