restore of backups from vdp without a vcenter

My linux appliance vcenter corrupted but vdp has a backup.Any one tried restore of backups from vdp without a vcenter.Appreciate any help.

If you are using VDP 5.5, it is possible.

VDP 5.5 introduces a new feature 'Emergency Restore'

What version of VDP is yours ?
