"Restore failed" after selecting datastore

I'm having an issue when trying to restore a VM - I get past the authenticating to host step when restoring, but the restore fails with an error (see attachment).

Running VDP 6.1.4

I have tried reading through documentation, but it's hard to find anything when the error message is so generic.

Were you able to see some error in the log files?

You should seriously consider switching to a different backup product now that VDP is no longer "available": VMware Knowledge Base
