fix for reoccurring integrity check failure in VDR

I just want to let you know that after more than one year of hard debugging with VMware Support there is a solution for the reoccurring integrity check failure in our VDR environment. They were not able to reproduce the problem but I think most of you have already faced this problem in your environment. VMware promised they will include the fix in the next release of VDR. If you think you are affected and want to get the hotfix for now just refer to SR 11128081812 at VMware Support. The fix works with both 2.0.0 and 2.0.1 version of VDR.

It is important to note that by simple installing the fix it does not fix immediately existing corrupted nodes, but will prevent new corrupted nodes from being created. In our environment our experience is that after installing the fix we got one more integrity check error which must be solved by deleting damaged restore points and doing a full integrity check as you have already done it routinely Smiley Happy, but after that we didn't see integrity check failures anymore.
