consolidate virtual machine disk files the operation is not allowed in the current state

Hello Guys, I Have a VM on ESXI That I don't use anymore but i only need the files on the VMDISK. So i export the vmdk file.

I just need the existing files. When I opened the disc I found only old things, so I realized that the updates were in the snapshot. But I can't merge the snapshot with the parent disk showing this error:

Consolidate VMDisks

Key:                     haTask-1-vim.VirtualMachine.consolidateDisks-139217140

Description:          Consolidate disk files of this virtual machine

Virtual machine:   hpfunilaria_server

State:                    Failed - The operation is not allowed in the current state.

so I went to consult the log:

Hi there!

Please make sure that those VMDKs are not mounted in any other VM. Also, try consolidating disks when the VM is powered off.

If that doesn't solve it, access to the host via SSH and restart management services and try again (Run services.sh restart). You will lose management for a minute or two so don't worry.

If also that doesn't solve it, try unregistering the VM and re adding it to vCenter (You will need the .vmx file for that), and then try again.

Regards!
