automated backups will not be performed

installed vdr. have a network share setup. schedule a job and recieved the message that automated backups will not be performed

the server Im backing up is currently not connected to the network, would this affect it? if vdr does its backup through IP Im guessing this is why

Once I rebooted VDR again I got the FULL error message. " . . .The backup will not be performed untill it is reconnected with vCenter Server" . The documentation I installed VDR from mentioned nothing about vcenter center
