Currently we use VCB to backup our vms. We then just copied the backups manually to an external drive that would get stored off-site.
I have vDR in a test setup now, backing up to an NFS share. Im working on ways to get it connected to our SAN and create some VMFS volumes to back up to.
When VDR backs up to the NFS share, the VMs are backed up in multiple files. Im not sure if we can just copy these to an external drive and have everything be ok. Thoughts on this?
