Vmware data recovery high CPU, all backup jobs IDLE

Hello,

     Today I have noticed that Data Recovery is very active, but all of my backup jobs are idle.  According to top within the data recovery VM:

    

     The CPU seems busy, and all cores across this ESXi host are spiking to 85%, with an average of 15%.  What could cause this?  I don't want to just restart the VM without understanding what is going on.

     I have allocated 2 virtual processors and 2048MB of mem to vDR.

     vDR version: 1.2.1.1616

     vSphere 4.1u1

OK, so this activity stopped eventually.  I am still curious what it was.  Some kind of maintainence?

It could have been a recatalog, reclaim or integrity check. If a recatalog is running backups jobs will not start. Chaeck through the vDR logs.

There was an integrity check that started @ 7:30am and ended @ 10:17am

A little disconcerting when you first come across it. Glad that is all it was. Version 2 will address some of these issues.
