I am running backup exec 2012 sp4 and using vray to backup my wm's running on ESXi 5.5 update 2. Recently, on my exchange server (just the mailbox db disk), it has been failing to remove/consolidate the snapshot when it is finished with the backup. So far I have been consolidating the snapshot manually in vSphere by clicking Snapshot -> Consolidate and it has been working. However, I would like to resolve whatever the underlying issue is. So far all I have done is rebooted the guest, rebooted my vCenter server, and rebooted the backup server but it is still happening. There are no other backups or snapshots taking place while this backup is running. Any ideas?
