VM Backup products

What is a good product to use to backup VM's in remote sites? I'm currently looking at Veeam but am open to other suggestions.

Note: Discussion successfully moved from VMware ESXi 5 to Backup & Recovery

Do you have any backup software in the remote site currently?

None. We are backing up entire VM's at the moment.

I assume you are on vSphere 5.0. You can use VDR(VMware Data Recovery). I think is available with vSphere 'Essentials plus & above' license.

Does VDR work the same way other products (like VEEAM) do? Are there any good documents on the features and how to set it up?

Yes, it works similarly. Check out http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vdr_pubs.html for the guide and release notes.
