VDR Backup schedule

In vSphere how do you schedule a backup period? Consider me paranoid but i want an one hour backup schedule for some VMs keeping a week long worth. But can't find an option to do that.

Do you have the vdr software installed on the workstation you connect from and a vdr appliance on the host?

The schedule is part of the backup job configuration of VDR.

You see a week plan and you can choose the backup window for each day.

Yes i see a backup window. And i've made it blue for almost 24/7 except for 4 working hours a day when there is a perfomance drop. Still it backups only once a day, or even once in 2 days. And if i want to backup each hour and keep those backups?

You cannot backup each hour with VDR.

The min schedule is daily.

Hi Andre,

As you know, does VDR not support multiple backups daily?

Since i configured a backup schedule 4 times/day for a VM.

Only the first backup job executed automatically.

I use version 1.2.0.37.

VC: 4.1.0 on Windows 2003 R2 64-bit.

Thank you in advance.

Albert
