VDR -2241 errors

Hi,

My trial VDR implementation went belly-up because the disks in my destination (a Windows 2003 box with shared folders) failed.

I've rebuilt the server using new disks, and new shares, and deployed the latest OVF to my vSphere environment.

However.... when I try to backup a VM, I get an error:

Backup Job 1 (VM name): Task incomplete

Job "Backup Job 1 (VM name)" incomplete

Trouble writing to destination volume, error -2241 (Destination index invalid/damaged)

The appliance is able to write to the destination, as it creates the BackupStore folders and files.

I've not got any old backup jobs showing, and there are no restore points.

Does anyone know how to fix this...even by wiping the configuration completely and starting again???

Cheers,

Iain

After re-re-creating the shares, I ran a manual integrity check, and it seems to be proceeding ok now....

Thanks, I'll check that out.

The test backups finished, but threw 2 more errors. One VM said:

Trouble writing to destination volume, error -102 (I/O error)

and the other one said

Trouble writing to destination volume, error -101 (improper request).

Hmmmm...
