We're still on vCenter 5.0
I am playing with the VDR appliance, version 2.0.2. Backups and restores all seem OK, I can run the FLR client on a windows VM and browse restore points, no issue.
However, I'm trying to run the Windows FLR in advanced mode to let me browse restore points from any protected VM. When I click the box to go to advanced mode, and enter credentials, I get an error "The vCenter Server credentials are not valid. Please try again [OK] "
The client is running on a Win7 VM, on the same subnet as the VDR appliance, and the vCenter server. I can ping both of the above.
If I run 'netstat' while trying to authenticate in advanced mode, I can see that the PC has established a connection to the VDR appliance on port 22024 and to vCenter on https. I know that the password is correct. I have tried it with alternative credentials and still doesnt work.
Am I missing something obvious?
