We received this error after the backup job hung and the appliance went down. An error was received from the ESX host while powering on Cannot open the disk
'/vmfs/volumes/539f5faa-e0ecf8ce-6a13-180373f7ae81/XXXX-SVR/XXXX-Data1-SVR_2_1.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
The XXXX-Data1-SVR_2_1.vmdk has been deleted. Does anyone know how to delete the job so the VDPA appliance will boot? The only thing I haven't tried is to manually create a VMDK with the same name. I'm worried that it may cause more damage. Has anyone ran into this?
Thanks,
MC
