VDP6.1 | rerun failed backup VM of a backup job includes multiple VMs

Hi Folks,

if 1 VM failed which is part of a job with multiple VMs, How do i just rerun this VM backup in VDP?

Will "Backup>Backup job name> Backup now" run only failed VM?

Backup Now -> Backup only out of date... usually it works.

You can start a backup of a single VM through the web client.

Got to the VM, click Actions->All VDP x.x Actions->Backup Now

Easy way? Run this from the SSH for that VM:

mccli client backup-dataset --name=VM_NAME --domain=/VM/DOMAIN

Example:

mccli client backup-dataset --name="Windows 2008" --domain=/<VC-IP>/VirtualMachines
