VDP SQL backup question

I have installed the VDP SQL agent on one of my SQL servers when I go to create the backup I see the SQL server but when I click the down arrow I am not seeing the databases so that I can select certain DBs to backup. I am running VDP 6.0.1 in vSphere 5.5. I am running SQL 2014. Any idea why I wouldn't see the individual DBs for backup? There is an attached screen shot of what I am seeing.

I'd start with checking SQL permissions as mentioned on page 203 of the admin guide.
