VDP: Failed to attach disk

I've tried everything I could for the past 2 days and I am still geting this...

I have reinstalled it 4 times so far and still same thing!

I CAN ping from within VDP shell the esxi hosts, vcenter by their FQDN, Hostname, IP and vice-versa

Hi,

the "Failed to attach disk" often happens when your VDP Backup user has not the right permissions on the vCenter.

What role has your VDP backup user configured? Maybe you can assign it to the admin group for a testrun to see if it's a permission problem.

Thank you everyone! That problem was SOLVED!

I have diagnosed a conectivity problem since the domain name have been changes.

The solution:

Remove ESXi hosts from the cluster with old host and domain sufix

Add them back using new domain sufix.

WORK!
