VDP 5.x migration to 6

Hi There,

We created new appliances for VDP 6.x and then used the migration utility to move the jobs to the new appliances.  Everything seems to be working great, and I would like to retire the 5.x appliances.

However, one thing I noticed is that the VDP datastore files are still within the 5.x folders.  Is there a proper method for moving these to the 6.1 files on the datastore?

I did not find anything about this in the 6.x documentation.

Hi,

Can you try performing a storage vMotion of the VDP appliance so that all the 6.x VDP files come under one folder. And the 5.x VDP VMDK should be renamed to 6.x display name post the SVmotion.
