  • 1.  VADP LAN Free backup

    Hi,
    I am after VMware official documentation that specifies the presentation of VM datastore luns to allow for VADP lan free backups within a SAN environment. This would be using the CommVault Virtual Server agent. I need official documentation stating that this is an approved/recognised process. Can you help by pointing me in the right direction?

    That document is the only place I've found it. VMware have not updated the document for VADP but the principals remain the same so thats all I need. Page 43 has the info I needed. Thanks!

    PS VMware, as a suggestion, update your documents as you update your technology.
