Recover Deduped VDR 2.0.1 NFS mounted VMDK with vCenter

Hello,

Currently running vSphere 5.0 with HA (2 host servers) and VDR 2.0.1 (1 VDR appliance per host) with 2 backup servers (primary, secondary). Each VDR appliance has 2 virtual disks, 1 for the VDR systme itself (5gb) and another one where it keeps the backups (mounted through NFS from the host). Everything was working quite well, vMotion, VDR, HA, etc... no problems whatsoever until both host servers failed. Weve simulated one host server to be offline and was able to recover everything since one host was still alive.  But now we are left with backups for all virtual machines that is inside  .VMDK files.

Question is, what would be the best way to deal with this so we can recover the VMs.  So far, we've opened  the .vmdk files with softwares such as WinImage and we can see the slab-xxx.dat files and what not. Any idea anyone?

Cheers,
