How to reset a VDR Appliance

The VDR appliance use a Domain user account. After change of the users password the login into the vdr app is not longer possible. In which we we can reset the vdr or change the password inside the vdr?

It is possible to connect in the /home/solution and applications/data recovery view/ to the VDR but of we click on the getting started wizard or at "set vCenter server or ESX Host Credentials" the Window will be timeouted and closed.

You can delete appliance and import it again.

All configuration elements will be restored by reading the destination folder.

Yes, this is a way to fix this issue and in the meantime i use it to solve my problem.

But i try to find a other might faster way to troubleshoot such cases.
