How do I backup my Veeam server?

I have two VM hosts with four guests each.  One of those eight guests is a Veeam server. 

I would think, ideally, that the Veeam server should live on a server of its own. Regardless, how do I backup the Veeam server?  Any recommendations?

Welcome to the Community,

It depends. If the Veeam Server only provides the server (and proxy) functionality - i.e. doesn't contain the backup repository - you may backup it like each other VM. I'd only suggest you schedule the backup job at a time when no other backup jobs are running.
