Error -3948 ( vcb api exception)

Does anyone have any experience with the error mentioned or knowledge of what the problem might be?  I've done some quick KB checking and I'm not finding this specific error message.  Haven't called VMware support yet; figured I would reach out to the community first.

I'm trying this:

"Alternatively, you can re-enable the network copy option in the datarecovery.ini file by setting DisableNetworkCopy=0 see VMware Data Recovery: Enabling verbose logging and datarecovery.ini options (1013175)."

I'll let you know how it turns out.
