I have successfully recovered a copy of my Data Recovery store and appliance to an offline VMware environment but I’m not able to restore any of the backups. I’m not able to see any of the new environments storage for the restore. Does anyone know how I can see the new storage so I would be able to successfully restore the virtual machines?
I’m assuming if the test restore environment was setup exactly the same as the Production environment using the same names for the hosts and datastores I would be successful but in a real Disaster Recovery scenario I will not have a full production environment available for recovery.
