Data Protection 6.1 issues, please help me!

Hello guys,

I've install DP 6.1.1 (12GB ram and 4cpu) on VMware Host + vCentre 5.5u2, my first backup seems works fine but now it sutcks at 92% for too much time for only 1 guest machine with size of about 600Gbyte .

I've see in log file this info:

VDDK:DISKLIB-LIB   : numIOs = 4900000 numMergedIOs = 0 numSplitIOs = 0

VDDK:DISKLIB-LIB   : numIOs = 4950000 numMergedIOs = 0 numSplitIOs = 0

...

What does it mean numIOs ? There is a kind of method for estimate how much time does it take for complete job?

Another question is why in VDP when I try to create new replication job and select "Guest image / applicatin backup" and select client individually there isn't any client listed?! list is empty

Your first backup will take longer.  The backup is probably still running.  Replication jobs only replicate backups that have completed.  Once a backup completes you should see the individual servers listed.  Did you run a VDP disk performance test?  If so did it pass?

Ok, replication now lists client after backup.

The problem is that all backup takes too much time,  first backup of one guest machine had done in 5 hours,  so I think other backups will be done in less time then first but I see it takes same as first time , 5 hours.. isn't possibile.

Seems it doesn't only incremental backup but always full backup..   why it didn't backup of only data changed?
