Cannot Configure Network for VDP

Hi,

I have managed to imported the ovf, logged on to the web client with default password, the system pickup a correct information (ip, dns, gateway), which I have inserted during the import, I have put additonal hostname and domain name information and click next.

An error message kept appeared --> "IP/DNS could not be resolved, please recheck the hostname, domain and DNS for forward and reserve lookup validation."

I then logon to the consolse, ping DNS server, ping domain name, ping gw and eveything seem to be okay. I also tried to change the hosts file on server and manually insert the host name and dns server, the error still there.

Any advise please.

Thanks

Hello -

In the VDP Admin Guide, it states that the DNS server must support forward and reverse lookup.  It also gives steps for defining if DNS is set up properly (see page 13-14).

Hope this helps.

Making sure of proper forward and reverse lookup for the appliance should resolve the issue
